Java Project Night
January 15 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Bring a laptop. Bring ideas. Bring questions. Bring enthusiasm. Bring friends. The New England Java User Group Project Night is a time to find others with compatible interests. Code, hack, teach, learn, meet, laugh, talk: anything goes at Project Night.
You don’t need to have a project, and you don’t have to show anything to anyone! This is an opportunity to work together with like-minded people. No presentations, just people working on whatever they want to work on. That’s it!
Tables will be labelled based on topics. There will be at least two tables of beginning learners, and helpers for them. Current ideas for table topics include: cloud, beginners, microservices, testing, Kotlin / Android, Spring / backend, Groovy, build tools / configuration, and Leetcode.
If you are looking for help on a problem or project that is too specific for a table, you can announce your need at the beginning of the evening.
If you are interested in fun online tools to learn new skills or improve existing ones, Ethan will be giving a lightning talk in an adjacent room related on HackerRank and Java koans.
